How late should we work?
I find myself getting emails from agents that have the buyers for 2 of our listings at very weird times of the day.  It seems that they must be part time because they keep emailing things after 9 at night and expect me to reply almost right away.
Is it just me or do you have the same problems with some agents.  I know when it comes to clients that is one thing, but for agents to be expecting us to work every night till 10 is nuts.  I am a full time agent, so respect … (23 comments)

Life is short, Don’t waste the time you have
After what we have gone through in Aurora, Colo. since Friday morning, it made me think how short life could be.  Luckily the gunman’s gun jammed or more people could have lost their life.  Lucky that the police department was only about 1 mile away.  Lucky that there where so many brave people in the theater.  Lucky that the police officers that saw the gunman in the back parking lot realized he was not a squad member.

A gunman wearing a gas mask set off an explosive device and then shot in to a crowded theater killing 12 people and injuring 53 at a theater in Aurora Mall in Aurora, Colorado.  It was the opening night of the new Batman movie.

1 ½ cups mashed ripe banana                                                    ¾ teaspoon baking soda
 
1 cup packed brown sugar. Divided                             ½ teaspoon salt
 
6 tablespoons butter, melted and divided                  ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
 
¼ cup dark rum or cognac                                               1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
 
1/3 cup plain fat free yogurt                                          cooking spray
 
2 large eggs                                                              1/3 cup powdered sugar

A Fire in our Office Complex
 
It was an exciting day at the office today.  Across the courtyard from our office a Vietnamese restaurant caught on fire.  The entire area was filled with smoke.  The firefighters showed up quickly and put the blaze out.  They had to cut a hole in the roof to get the water inside the place.  I caught a couple of pictures because I happen to have my camera with me.

I got hacked this past week and all my clients and friends got an email from me saying I needed help in Spain.  After a long talk with my business partner, Belinda, we decided it was time for me to come up with a new email address.

Are you fricking kidding me, a scam calling me on a Saturday morning at 7:20.  I know this does not happen often but it did this morning, on a Saturday.  I answered the phone since I was up and paying bills but when I grab the phone and he said Is this Mr. Hamm, well I unloaded and said on a Saturday morning at 7:20 this should be important.  I look at called I D and he was calling from a weird area code,  …..I gave him a minute and told him I am on the no call list and … (23 comments)

Time for a road trip.
I am so glad gas is down (3.54 a gal) because today and tomorrow my business partner. Belinda Spillman, and myself need to do a wide loop.  We need to go south 40 miles to Perry Park to drop off flyers for this great looking home.
After that, we have to go north west today and deliver flyers to a great home up past Blackhawk.  It has a 6 car garage, big enough for a RV motor home.
