How late should we work? - 07/26/12 11:44 AM
How late should we work? I find myself getting emails from agents that have the buyers for 2 of our listings at very weird times of the day. It seems that they must be part time because they keep emailing things after 9 at night and expect me to reply almost right away. Is it just me or do you have the same problems with some agents. I know when it comes to clients that is one thing, but for agents to be expecting us to work every night till 10 is nuts. I am a full time agent, so respect (23 comments)

Life is short, Don’t waste the time you have - 07/23/12 09:11 AM
Life is short, Don’t waste the time you have After what we have gone through in Aurora, Colo. since Friday morning, it made me think how short life could be. Luckily the gunman’s gun jammed or more people could have lost their life. Lucky that the police department was only about 1 mile away. Lucky that there where so many brave people in the theater. Lucky that the police officers that saw the gunman in the back parking lot realized he was not a squad member. I feel sorry for all the people that are recovering from their wounds and (20 comments)
Not a great day when you turn on the news and hear….
A gunman wearing a gas mask set off an explosive device and then shot in to a crowded theater killing 12 people and injuring 53 at a theater in Aurora Mall in Aurora, Colorado. It was the opening night of the new Batman movie.
I have to wonder what would cause someone to take another person life but do to it to a number of people. I am 3 miles away from where the movie theater is, and was woke up by a number of police (16 comments)
This two story townhome is now only $118,000 and the seller will pay the first 6 months of HOA dues.
This end unit townhome in Westchester South Condos has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is also a basement which is 80% finished. The living room has a wood burning fireplace. Pets are no problem with the fenced in patio which leads directly to the covered carport.

Today should be the day for Belinda to hit 400,000 - 07/13/12 08:16 AM
Today should be the day! My business partner, Belinda Spillman, should make 400,000 today playing in the Rain. She has always been very witty in coming up with blog topics. I always say to her, you are so lucky, you got featured again. She was at 399,455 this morning, so hopefully she makes it today. If you get a chance, go by her blog and comment to help her make it to 400k. Good Job Belinda! (14 comments)
It was an exciting day at the office today. Across the courtyard from our office a Vietnamese restaurant caught on fire. The entire area was filled with smoke. The firefighters showed up quickly and put the blaze out. They had to cut a hole in the roof to get the water inside the place. I caught a couple of pictures because I happen to have my camera with me.
Thankfully no one was hurt and the fire is out. I think the people eating lunch in there got out for (10 comments)
I got hacked this past week and all my clients and friends got an email from me saying I needed help in Spain. After a long talk with my business partner, Belinda, we decided it was time for me to come up with a new email address.
Of course this means a major overhaul of our marketing from new business cards to changing the rest of our marketing. She set up a new email address for me that she thinks will work better. Now I need to get (7 comments)
No, I am not in Spain, maybe I wish I was but no I am not there. Yesterday morning started out with my daughter calling me to say that she received an email telling her I was in Spain and needed help and to reply to the email. Of course, I just talked to her on Sunday and she knew I was not on vacation. Next a cousin in Pennsylvania, email me and asked how she could help. She hit the reply button and it was a long story of how I was (19 comments)
Are you fricking kidding me, a scam calling me on a Saturday morning at 7:20. I know this does not happen often but it did this morning, on a Saturday. Time for a road trip - 07/06/12 07:58 AM
Time for a road trip. I am so glad gas is down (3.54 a gal) because today and tomorrow my business partner. Belinda Spillman, and myself need to do a wide loop. We need to go south 40 miles to Perry Park to drop off flyers for this great looking home. After that, we have to go north west today and deliver flyers to a great home up past Blackhawk. It has a 6 car garage, big enough for a RV motor home. Tomorrow, we have a referral to list a home up I-25 past Loveland, would refer this one out, (13 comments)
