inspiration: Overcoming A Poverty Spirit - 03/20/14 03:50 AM
I am removing a poverty spirit from your heart.
A poverty spirit keeps you trapped in a lower form of being.
Poverty is not about economic deficiency.
True poverty is the acceptance of meager possibility.

There can be a poverty of imagination.
A deficiency in courage. A death in personal vision.
A barrenness in the will that keeps you passive and beaten down.
Poverty is accepting limitation, and being governed by lack.

My people convince themselves that they lack resources,
but the reality is, they do not go out to meet My provision.
They take no stops of faith, … (6 comments)

inspiration: I Had a Heart Transplant 8 Years Ago Today - 11/05/13 11:52 PM
It's not what you think. The man I was 8 years ago today not only had a heart transplant but also every cell in my body was totally replaced. I was made unmistakenly and completely new in all ways. How did this happen?
The old Robert was arrogant, a know-it-all, extremely superficial, uncaring, unloving and just an all around jerk. Oh, people liked me enough for the most part. I never kicked a dog. In fact those who knew me mostly thought I was a good person. My mask that I wore in public was a very good mask. Just like … (5 comments)

inspiration: One Solution for our Budget Problems and other thoughts... - 10/16/13 01:07 AM
After hearing an interview with Israeli PM Netanyahu in which he praised our government model, he added that maybe Israel has one idea better than ours for creating a budget.
First, if the deadline passes for a budget with no agreement, 1/12th of last year's budget goes into effect for the next 30 days. If no agreement is reached at the end of those 30 days, again, another month based upon last year's budget. This goes on for 6 months or until a new budget agreement is reached.
Secondly, if 6 months passes with no agreement, every seat in the Knesset … (6 comments)

inspiration: Fear = Death - 10/10/13 01:10 AM
Fear is the most socially accepted sin in the Church. Fear is a serial killer, the prime suspect in the death of more people on the planet than all other diseases combined. Fear in every form has been linked to heart disease, cancer, autoimmune disorders, mental illness and many other sicknesses. Fear is the welcome mat to demonic activity in our lives. The prophet Isaiah wrote, “…You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear…” (Isaiah 54:14). When we reject fear, we live in peace. But if we allow fear to creep into our lives, we soon find ourselves … (4 comments)

inspiration: If The Devil Can't Stop You He Will Try To Confuse You - 09/10/13 11:48 PM
This came to me today and was very timely for us. I hope it speaks to someone else today. It's from a great motivational speaker named Lance Wallnau and you can learn more at lancelearning.biz. Please read on...
If The Devil Can’t Stop You He Will Try To Confuse You Published September 6, 2013 | By Lance Wallnau The number one lie of the enemy: YOU ARE NOT READY YET! Do not listen to this voice.
Remember – if it’s the truth that sets you free, then it’s a lie that holds you captive. The lie you must overcome is that you need more … (4 comments)

inspiration: Prince George has nothing on you! - 07/25/13 03:18 AM
In all our history has there ever been so much attention placed on one newborn baby? I can understand why Jesus picked 2,000 years ago to come instead of in today's sensationalist media times. He wouldn't have survived all the media attention and it would have just helped those who wanted to kill Him before His appointed time.
Here's my one and only point about this all. No matter what George's bloodline, he is still no different than any one of us. He cries, he has needs that will have to be met, he hungers, he poops and he will grow … (6 comments)

inspiration: The Work of the Holy Spirit - 07/15/13 01:37 AM
I have just finished reading a book called Killing Jesus. It was a gift from my best friend. I found it very interesting to read some facts given from a different perspective, not necessarily all from the Bible. Many facts were gleaned from other historical texts and writings from that era. Many were not Christians in fact, which actually gives the story more credibility because there was no agenda of these authors other than to tell a true event and record it for historical value only.
Today in my Bible time, I came to John 16 and in the version I'm … (4 comments)

inspiration: Time to Clean our Tanks - 06/17/13 01:55 AM
We recently had a major disappointment when trying to travel to California to see our youngest daughter, Jess, graduate from ministry school and then tow her car back to PA. The RV had major problems only 3 hours into our 38 hour cross country trip. Evidently the new bio-diesel fuels will grow algae in the tanks if sitting in non-use for a period of time. There is very expensive additive that should be used in the tank when storing for any length of time. This was news to me and especially since I never knowingly used bio-diesel. I've since discovered that … (3 comments)

inspiration: Aaron Knows Who Butters His Bread... - 04/27/13 01:31 AM
The now highest paid NFL player, Aaron Rodgers knows where his strength comes from, it comes from the Lord. He acknowledges before millions just where his talent has come from and takes the time to thank his Creator. We should all do the same. As Coach Lombardi would say, "We are shooting for perfection and although we will never be perfect, in that process, we will find excellence."

Jeremiah 16:19
O Lord, my strength and my stronghold, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say, “Our … (4 comments)

inspiration: Treasure found in a CVS - 01/28/13 03:37 AM
We heard a story the other week that I'd like to share. There is a family in our church who lost their beloved wife/mother to breast cancer about 4 years ago now. She opted for spiritual healing and not chemo for reasons I won't go into here and partly because I do not remember all the facts. She didn't receive the healing she sought right up until her last breath. We were privileged to have spent a couple hours with her at Hospice the day before she went home.
This story starts with their eldest son of 11 years old. He … (2 comments)

inspiration: Your Appointment Still Awaits You - 11/09/12 04:29 AM
Appointed TimesIn spite of escalating turmoil in our world, and failed hopes for presidential elections in the USA, there still remains one last, great outpouring of mercy before the time of the end (see Matt. 24:14; Acts 2:17). This supernatural season is not something for which we must beg God. No, its coming has been predetermined. It is the "appointed time" of the Lord.As most know, an "appointed time" is an open display of the sovereignty and power of God, whether it is in calling a person or calling a nation. In it we discover with absolute certainty that nothing is … (4 comments)

inspiration: How to handle an armed robber... - 10/15/12 12:51 AM
"I've got Sonshine, on a cloudy day" is how our Pastor, Charles Stock puts it. When it's cold outside we are the month of May. This is how he describes how a Christian should be when encountering darkness.
Last week a family from our church was robbed by a gun wielding, masked attacker. Yes, while walking in his neighborhood in Harrisburg, PA, with his wife, twin 4 year old girls and a 2 year old son, they were held up. The following is the television report on the crime. The most amazing thing about hearing this yesterday was that Jeremy Bardwell, … (5 comments)

inspiration: Faith, Hope and Love - 10/04/12 01:27 AM
... but the greatest of these is love. Today, I'd love to share a faith stretching true event with you.
Last fall after our daughter, Jess, settled in at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA., they were given an exercise to go and build their faith for things that don't seem possible in the realm of the physical world. Jess and her friends came up with praying over coins and sticking them to the walls with nothing but prayer. Within a few days, they started seeing them stick... at first for a few seconds but then for minutes and … (1 comments)

inspiration: The Church and Chick-fill-A or Why Did the Church Cross the Road - 08/03/12 01:14 AM
To get to the other side is the answer to that moldy old joke. The Church in many of it's forms has crossed the road to the other side, called the world, and many think it's a good thing. To be loving and accepting of everyone, no matter what they believe or where they are in their lives is certainly the right way of doing things. All people must be welcomed within the walls of the church.
The place of crossing the line lies in ordaining anyone in open unrepentant sin to a place of leadership. How can one lead from … (3 comments)

inspiration: In the Aftermath of Horrifying Events- Part 2 - 08/01/12 02:09 AM
At the turn of the Twentieth Century, one of America's leading newspapers addressed the following question to many notable people of that time: "What in your opinion is the chief danger, social or political, that confronts the coming century?”  General William Booth, founder of Salvation Army, was one invited to reply to this question; he sent this reply:
“The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, heaven without hell.” Last post dealt with Politics without God. This post I want to … (3 comments)

inspiration: Be Careful Who You Put On A Pedestal - 07/12/12 01:32 AM
We tend to elevate other people in our hearts and minds. It's human nature.  I loved Vince Lombardi as a kid, I loved Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, Roberto Clemente, John Havelichek, Bill Russell, Bill Mazeroski, Willie Stargell, Paul Newman and Clint Eastwood. I guess you could say I put them on pedestals. They could do no wrong in my eyes. Of these men, Vince and Roberto have been immortalized since their deaths. I even got to meet Roberto one late night in Philadelphia after a Phillies game, and just a month or two from his 3,000 hit and final at bat. … (10 comments)

We just heard something from one of our spiritual children via a Facebook post. It is good to see some are blossoming under the Son while off at college. The following was posted on her Facebook page... written by her. Enjoy.

inspiration: Healthcare, done right. - 06/28/12 01:38 AM
On such a momentous day in our history, I thought of a recent medical problem I was having. I was so thankful for my healthcare coverage. Here's what happened.
I was having some health issues that dealt with low energy and tiredness issues. I've seen the commercials for low testosterone and pills to enhance my libido and all kinds of things to make an older guy feel young again.  I am getting older... So I went to see my Doctor. I said, "Father God, why am I having these issues". To which He replied in my spirit, "It's a blood circulation … (5 comments)

inspiration: The Church and the World and Knowing the Difference - 06/26/12 07:08 AM
We were just having a discussion here last night about those in the church who aren't really interested in anything more than a Sunday drive to hang out at church for the morning and then go back home to do what it is they do. Mostly things that don't say... I'm His. Then Mike Frazier made a comment on my blog yesterday pertaining to the same subject.
We came to the conclusion that it is impossible to really know Jesus, really have an intimate relationship with God our Father and not act and be totally different than we did before this … (5 comments)
