This is the greatest show on earth... I have nothing to add except, if you only read a little bit of the Bible, make it Matthew 5, 6 & 7.

inspiration: My Favorite Quotes by Bill Johnson, Mid-week pick-me-up. - 09/22/10 09:49 AM
Bible study without Bible experience is pointless.  Faith comes from the heart not the mind. But the renewed mind enhances faith. It fuels faith with understanding. I will not lower the standard of the Bible to my level of experience.  Everyone deserves the right to live with a sense of significance.  While much of the church is waiting on the next word from God, He is waiting to hear the dream of His people. We sell the gospel short if we see the need for miracles as optional. There are some things that God doesn't want to do to you or … (3 comments)

inspiration: You Gotta Love New Zealand! - 09/20/10 04:08 PM
Can you imagine this being the National Anthem in America? Can you imagine singing these words before every sporting event in this country? I love Kiwis!
Here now is the lyrics to New Zealand's National Anthem...
New Zealand National Anthem Lyrics
God of nations! at Thy feet In the bonds of love we meet, Hear our voices, we entreat, God defend our Free Land. Guard Pacific's triple star, From the shafts of strife and war, Make her praises heard afar, God defend New Zealand Men of ev'ry creed and race Gather here before Thy face, Asking Thee to bless this … (7 comments)

inspiration: The First Meal Ever Served on the MOON... - 09/17/10 04:03 PM
Communion on the Moon: July 20, 1969    (This is an article by Eric Metaxas)    Forty one years ago two human beings changed history by walking on the surface of the moon. But what happened before Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong exited the Lunar Module is perhaps even more amazing, if only because so few people know about it. "I'm talking about the fact that Buzz Aldrin took communion on the surface of the moon. Some months after his return, he wrote about it in Guideposts magazine.   And a few years ago I had the privilege of meeting him … (3 comments)

inspiration: FORGIVENESS, It's not the easy way out... - 09/15/10 04:20 PM
For those who have read of my friend John... the one who lost his dear wife and almost his own life in a horrific motorcycle accident in May of 2009? I last wrote about him in this post: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1814829/another-kind-of-dream-realized- and http://activerain.com/blogsview/1239705/-your-comprehension-is-not-prerequisite-to-your-cooperation-
He just left after coming back to PA for a visit. We got to ski together again on a very rough day on the river... but just to see him ski again is so miraculous. NOW here is what John is doing.
John wanted to know what we thought about him contacting the people that caused his accident. He … (9 comments)

inspiration: You'll never look at a cup of coffee the same way again... - 08/26/10 08:09 AM
A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.
A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came … (8 comments)

inspiration: Another kind of dream realized... - 08/23/10 11:16 AM
Some times God chooses to heal rather than perform a miracle. What's the difference? A miracle is described best as a sudden and abrupt change in the natural with no explanation other than God just did something. For example: Our daughter having a totally torn ACL, maybe MCL and maybe miniscus damage one moment and in an instant, perfectly well and whole. In an instant a miracle happened, all pain and inflammation gone for good. They are often times creative such as in our daughter's knee. Something that was missing is suddenly replaced or ... created. (Ask any surgeon and they … (6 comments)

inspiration: "I Do Not Remember" - 07/15/10 10:42 AM
I remember reading this in more depth in his book. Today I was reminded again of this powerful word and wanted to share it. Francis is an incredibly gifted teacher. His In Christ's Image Training course was the first knowledge I received upon being saved. I count myself extremely Blessed to have started my journey under his tutelage.
"I Do Not Remember"By Francis Frangipane (En Español)How little we understand of eternal redemption! How many times will God forgive you? If you have truly set your heart to follow Him, He will cancel your sins as often as you ask. Will He … (7 comments)

inspiration: Midweek thought... - 05/05/10 04:57 PM
Bill Johnson is a man that just makes my head spin when I listen to him. Thankfully, he pauses (selah) alot after most statements.  About every other sentence he says somethng like this:
"To know the peace that surpasses all understanding you must first lose your right to understand."
If you haven't read anything by Bill Johnson or heard a teaching by him... you should. When Heaven Invades Earth is one of the most life changing books you'll ever read about our relationship with Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit in the Kingdom.

inspiration: ONE MORE LIFE FOREVER CHANGED... - 04/07/10 08:31 AM
This is a brief testimony of how the church works. First, let me give you my definition of what the church is. The church is you, me and any believer in the resurrected Son of God named Jesus Christ. It is NOT a building, a denomination or any structured body. It is simply us.
My testimony starts on my distribution route for our magazine. I don't think of it as a job spreading our magazines about the county. It is my ministry, I am the representative of the Living God and all the people I meet and talk with are my … (5 comments)

inspiration: ANGRY, ANGRY, ANGRY - 03/27/10 08:47 AM
My wife and I are graduates of the Level I and Level II ICIT course offered by Francis Frangipane. It is pretty much were our journey into the Father's heart started for us. Here's the latest writings concerning where we are going and what it means to a believer right now. I felt it was worth sharing today.
The other thought on my mind today is, and this is important... Dogs bark, Cats meow and Sinners sin. We are all sinners but yet when we see others sin it offends us. Same goes with whatever Congress is doing. Don't criticize what … (6 comments)

inspiration: THURSDAY THOUGHT- ARE YOU A PEARL? - 03/11/10 08:51 AM
I believe that the vast majority of people on this planet never see their actual worth. Seriously, there are very few who know just how valuable their life is. There are some who are puffed up in themselves, but if you really dive deep into their hearts you'll most likely find someone who is really suffering from low self esteem. They require a strong and large facade to woo the necessary accolades required to keep them pumped up. When they go a time without, is when signs of depression can set in until they are able to have someone pump them … (1 comments)

inspiration: In the Face of the Impossible - 03/08/10 08:42 PM
Shortly after coming to know Jesus, we signed up for and successfully completed a very tough and grinding 6 month course called In Christ's Image. Not everyone in our class completed the course. There was a lot of study and written tests, essay tests, that had to be completed on time. It was an intense college level course, no doubt. We were fortunate enough to complete Level 2 of this course as well. We hope to finish Level 3 someday, which is to facilitate a Level 1 class. This course was written and is administered by Francis Frangipane and his staff. … (6 comments)

inspiration: Great Quotes for Succeeding - 03/06/10 02:26 PM
Just today I found out that the Christian Missionary Alliance denomination had a national convention this past week. They made an announcement that kind of shook me. They have stated that they want their churches to start practicing and teaching on the supernatural, all the gifts of the Spirit. They went on to say that it is their roots and somehow have strayed over the course of the last decades. They now want to return to their roots and are recommending that all their affiliates follow suit.
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, … (3 comments)

inspiration: SCHOOL PRAYER - Outlawed 10 years ago... - 01/08/10 07:46 PM
Someone sent me one of those emails stating if I wasn't ashamed of the Gospel, then I should forward it. I'm doing one better, I'll repost this for all to see, friends and foes alike. This is a matter of public record and was read outloud in Congress on September 20, 2000 by Zach Wamp of Tennessee.
Sometimes the fact that our laws can be changed to appease a very small contingency of squeeky wheels while treading on the majority of us just about turns my stomach. I used to be an atheist and I don't ever recall feeling any … (12 comments)

inspiration: The Christ Pattern/El Modelo de Cristo - 12/14/09 08:34 AM
This came in my weekly message from Pastor Francis... and seemed very timely. I've personally been struggling with loving our new president and many members of Congress, who in my mind, appear to want to destroy our country. Not to mention our courts still allow a million babies to be killed each year. The Lord has been telling me that He is going to help me learn to love them, that I'm compelled to love them regardless of their actions. He keeps reminding me how deceptive and deceitful my heart was before my relationship with Him came about. Loving those who … (6 comments)

inspiration: Back to the Future: Jesus is Healing Our Past and Setting Up Our Future - 12/10/09 09:11 AM
Our favorite clock in our kitchen stopped working a few months back. I replaced the battery and still nothing. That's when I heard the Lord speak into my heart, we put too much emphasis on TIME. He reminded me that we are in this world but not of it. We are also seated in heavenly places even when we appear to be right here. Even quantum physicists believe now that we are actually non existent in this dimension every 20th of a millisecond. Where are we? We blink out. The Father has been showing me that we restrict ourselves with the … (5 comments)

inspiration: The Manhattan Declaration- How we CAN make a difference. - 11/28/09 10:37 AM
This came across my email a day before Thanksgiving, and I would have posted it had it not been a time I relish spending with just my family and those we invite into our holiday gathering. During these times, nobody uses a cell phone, computer or anything that takes our attention away from OUR time together. It's a very simple, few page document, stating how we feel about where our nation should be heading, especially in such dark times.
In the past, I've had some disagreements with how Focus on the Family has gotten their message out and some of the … (6 comments)

inspiration: The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth... when do I get my share? - 11/14/09 09:27 AM
This is one of the most misunderstood passages and a major stumbling block to many outside the Kingdom of God. The biggest misunderstanding lies with the word meek. Meekness doesn't equal weakness. Meek may rhyme with weak but that's the only similarity. Meekness is similar with gentle. Think of how gentle a trained elephant seems to be, yet they can move great weights easliy, they are used to pull mighty tree stumps out of the ground.
The word in Greek is praus and is also used to describe a well trained war horse in ancient Greece:
A war horse's training … (7 comments)
