I need your help, RainMakers!  I've been researching the follow-up methods used in real estate sales and need some love from my ActiveRain buddies.  All of us want more of the people we meet to become our customers, right?  So how do you do it?

Stop Treating Me Like a Lead - 04/14/11 10:01 AM
Chuck Carstensen recently wrote a great blog post, Not Everyone Is A Lead.  I don't know Chuck, but he gave me a pretty clear sense of his priorities and I already like him.  Isn't ActiveRain great?
Anyway, Chuck made it clear that treating people like "leads" instead of living, breathing human beings is no way to grow your business.  Of course, he's absolutely right.  If you want a business that lasts YOU MUST ESTABLISH AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.

What I Learned about Blogging from "The Fighter" - 04/12/11 01:46 PM
For this weeks movie night, I gave up my chick pick and let my beau choose.  It was a good call, he picked one with a super hottie. The Fighter chronicles the story of Mickey Ward and his journey to a Welterweight Title.  if you haven't watched it yet, its out on DVD and you should definitely rent it.
Ward was known for his left hook to the body and his ability to take a lot of punches while waiting to land it.  In fight after fight he was basically declared dead before coming back to drop his opponent.

Who is with me?  ActiveRain is such a lame name.  I mean what does it mean anyway.  Whoever came up with that name is lame and should probably try to find a new line of work.
When we named Happy Grasshopper a bunch of people said we were nuts.  Now that ActiveRain has gone ahead with the move I think we will be brave and make the change too.  I'm thinking
