haroldine gearhart: Plastic Bags Banned in Calabasas - 03/28/11 05:07 PM

Haroldine is a Realtor in Calabasas and takes great steps to keep on top of anything happening in Calabasas. As of this July, shoppers in Calabasas will no longer be offered plastic bags when doing their shopping. Those who don't bring their own reusable sacks will have to go without or buy paper bags which will cost 10 cents each.
This ordinance was voted, unanimously, by City officials in February to ban the use of disposable plastic bags at grocery stores and other retail shops.
Large stores in Calabasas and unincorporated county areas have until July 1st to comply with the local law. The … (2 comments)
