Help! I need a recipe for a Brunch Dessert with limited ingredients! - 03/26/09 04:46 PM
Next Sunday my Sunday School Class is having a brunch at one of the ladies' houses. Because I didn't respond to the email early enough, I was asked to bring a dessert. That was easy enough. So I said yes, of course! Then I get an email that says Ann, not her real name, is allergic to Chocolate. Well that takes care of my favorite. OK, I have a great cheesecake recipe. Then another email came that said Sue, not her name again, is allergic to cheese, including cream cheese and yogurt. This isn't funny anymore. I don't know how to (15 comments)

As part of our Charity Group, we also kept the Ronald McDonald House on top of the recycling bin so that those inclined could remove the tabs and put them in the house. (9 comments)
Doughnut Girls Honored at Nashville Memorial Cemetery on May 25th, 2009 - 03/14/09 11:07 AM
Doughnut Girls honored by the Salvation Army!During world war I and II, the Doughnut Girls were known to serve hot doughnuts to the service men on the front lines. Unfortunately, the only supplies available to them were flour, sugar, lard, baking powder, canned milk and cinnamon. So they made doughnuts on a wood fired potbellied stove.Often in mud, the Doughnut Girls would go to (18 comments)
Holt Woods sales are on tract to be similar to 2008. Unlike headline news in The Tennessean and other local Real Estate Blogs, this neighborhood is holding ground as far as sales go. Prices are down almost 10% but the number of sales is equal to 2008 at this point.
There are currently 5 active listings on the market. This is a normal amount of inventory for this time of year. With the $8000 tax credit incentive, sales in this neighborhood and (0 comments)

Bradford Hills Nashville TN February 2009 Market Report Sales are picking up in Bradford Hills! The year to date total sales are exactly what they were in 2008. A total of 5 closings for January and February combined. The remarkable thing about these numbers are that the Tennessean and other Real Estate Blogs are saying that February sales are down from a year ago. Not so in Bradford Hills. Of the 5 closings for 2009, 4 of them were in February! There are currently 16 homes for sale. Of those, 3 have contracts on them. This is not only better than (0 comments)
