It doesn't seem like such a big thing, but I still remember when I couldn't wait to hit the 100k point mark. One year later I blew by 300k and didn't even notice. How did I not notice???? This year has really kicked my posting up a notch. It started with the 31 day challenge in January. I met so many new AR members that I began to interact with that it inspired me to write that much more. I keep encouraging you newbies to keep writing. It gets (43 comments)
I want to introduce you to Conrad Allen! - 03/23/11 05:21 PM
I want to introduce you to Conrad Allen! He just hit that sweet spot, 100,000 POINTS. Many of us have been there. It's that huge first milestone that tells us we've finally made it. Maybe we will be bloggers after all. Over the first hump! I'm not sure when we started reading each other's posts, but I often find him lurking around my blog. His dry sense of humor and wit keep me coming back to his. Go check him out Webster, Ma's Blog. Conrad's going to go far here! (9 comments)
Tea Bags for Japan - Paying it forward! - 03/23/11 11:17 AM
Tea Bags for Japan - Paying it forward! Last week Glenn Freezman, from Fort Washington, PA wrote a post inspired by a conversation he had with his daughter. She told him that over 500,000 people had been displaced by the tragedies that hit Japan on Friday March 11th. The two most important items that people are asking for are Water and Tea. It was her idea to collect Tea Bags and send them to them. The tea is a reminder of Home for them. Glenn will be sending the tea on April 8th, his daughter's birthday. (6 comments)
This would be the third year for the Nashville Cherry Blossum Festival, hosted by The Consulate General of Japan at Nashville, the Japan-American Society of Tennessee and Metro Government. Due to the catastrophic events in Japan just over a week ago, the organizers decided that instead of canceling the event, they would turn it into a "Relief Event" for the citizens of Japan. It is now called the Nashville Cherry Blossom Japan Relief Event.
The Festival will be Saturday March 26th, at Nashville's (20 comments)

A recent Harris Interactive Pole asked a large number of people across the country the question:
"If you could live in or near any city in the country except the one you live in or nearest to now, which city would you choose?"
Nashville came in at Number 7!
Coming in behind great cities like New York, number 1, San Diego, Vegas, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles is no small feat! People who want a smaller city with all (16 comments)
Spring has Finally arrived in Nashville TN! - 03/13/11 01:16 PM
Spring has Finally arrived in Nashville TN! I arrived home late afternoon on Wednesday after a day of rain and stress, only to see the sun break out and the beautiful blooms of the Tulip Magnolia at the front of my house.
Just thought I'd share. Happy Sunday! (20 comments)
We recently needed to purchase blinds for our new house. I searched back in my emails for a message from a local company that offered discounts to local Realtors. I then asked around, to people who had used this company, to find out what type of experience they had.
When searching for Blinds or Window Treatments in Brentwood there are many more options than one would like to sort through and using someone who came highly recommended turned out to be a great thing!
Yesterday I read and commented on Tom Waite's post Kissing Active Rain Realtors® See what I just did! He was very excited about learning how to make the Realtor ® sign. He was talking about reading a post by Pamela Seley who had read a comment by Bob Marsh on a post by Diane Mora. In all of this he learned how to make the Realtor® Sign.
Reading the comments before I commented I noticed a comment by John Novak with a link to an article at Penn State titled (26 comments)

Not possible, you say! Here are a few tips a friend just shared with me. At today's prices, it's worth trying.
First, always fill your car up in the morning. We've all heard this before, but do we remember to do it? The colder the temperature, the more dense the gasoline will be. It starts expanding as the temperature increases.
Always refill your tank when it is HALF FULL. Gasoline evaporates easily when it comes in contact with air. The more air in your tank, the more it (83 comments)

I can tell you this from experience. It all started 3 weeks ago when we received an offer on our house. The house we were living in. Sounds like a good thing, right? The complicated part was that we already had a contract on the house. Buyers #1 had a Home Sale Contingency with a 48 hour kick-out. Because they really wanted the house,
Buyers #1 removed their contingency and agreed to close at the end of the month, a few weeks sooner than we expected. (69 comments)
