Learn Just ONE Thing! Then go back and USE it!
We're headed off to BarCamp this morning. Rumor has it that there are already over 70 classes to chose from. Normally when attending any type of class or all day group of classes we fill our notebooks will tons of great information.
When we get back to the office we have a day's worth of messages and emails to return and the notebook gets put to the side. There's so much information there that you don't know where to begin.

REBarCamp comes to Nashville March 29, 2012

This is year 3 for REBarCamp Nashville! The first two years were held in downtown Nashville in somewhat Vacant Highrises! It was a great way to see some beautiful downtown Real Estate.
This year, BarCamp goes to the Burbs! Nashville REBarCamp will be held at the Factory in Franklin Tennessee, 15 miles from downtown Nashville.
The 9am to 4:30pm day will be full of technology and innovative learning. This is not for the Faint of Heart! We're looking forward to catching up with some of our ActiveRain friends!

Why is my Smart Phone so much smarter than Me?
Technology, you can love it and you can absolutely hate it!
 
Saturday my cell phone went on the blink. Totally black, no picture, nothing. Sunday the screen re-appeared.
Not taking any chances I went to the Sprint store and got a new phone so they could transfer my data.
I'll be the first to admit, my phone had seen better days but I've really been fighting the Smart Phone. I don't think I want everything at my fingertips ALL the time.

Using Video to Market Yourself and Your Listings
I don't know if you do this or not, but I sometimes keep magazines for several years before I get to them. Realtor Magazine is one of them. They mail it to me at the office, where I never have time to read and it ultimately ends up in a pile to go home with me.

This was my first REBarCamp and I can tell I was NOT disappointed. I had been to RETech South in Atlanta back in March and was really looking forward to seeing some of the same people I had met there. I loaded myself in the car and headed to Raleigh. Read about my Trip to Raleigh.
Thursday evening was spent at Beer for Bloggers where Heather O had the bar set up for Power Point Karaoke. I'm not even going to try to explain it but it was very funny as the contestants described the pictures she put up.

I just got off the phone with the most incredible person.
I come into the office early to do things w/out being interrupted. It also gives me time to go to AR and read other peoples posts. I admit I'm a newbie. AND I'm a little afraid of blogging.
