Well, I am happy to say I have been able to keep one of my New Years resolutions...reading my real estate magazines! As a Realtor I get several magazines sent to me on a monthly basis. Often agents throw them away, toss them into a pile or don't read them. However, these real estate magazines are chock full of good ideas, technology, life experiences, agent input, etc. one cannot afford to read them. I have been able to further my knowledge, ideas, contacts & impress my clients with my cutting edge concepts. People are working hard to help us Realtors keep in

I just worked with the best home Sellers in the world & I just gotta share the positive adventure. It started out with an email contact thru Active Rain. Checking my email as I normally do, I came across an email from someone in my local neighborhood farm that I live & drop off my info in. They were considering selling their home & they wanted to meet with me for an interview. I have noticed many agents do not do their homework when it comes to listing a property on the Multiple Listing Service. When acquiring a new listing it does not take much to do the research and get answers. When you have a new listing, find out what tract it is located in. Don't fill out "other" or "custom" when the tract actually has a name. Many agents research areas by the tracts because their buyers like a particular area and not always Thomas guide numbers, which means they will miss your listing.
