Sound like bad advice?  When you put it like that, anyone can tell that it's bad advice but this is what people are telling others to do all the time in the stock market.
 Think about it, everyone seems to have a friend who put a chunk of money in the stock market and now its worth a lot less and so they sell it and get out before they lose any more money.  These people usually put the balance of their money into a checking account or money market account which pays almost nothing at all. Earth day is here today (for 32 more minutes) and being green is a hot topic these days. Since I am in the mortgage banking industry, I will speak about what can be done in and around home loans and real estate to be a little greener.
