My industry has seen more changes in the last 20 months than I have seen in the last 20 years. I just take all of the changes that come down the pike and I roll them into my business and move on. I usually have a pretty sunny disposition but sometimes it just gets to me.... A big question these days is what loan to use and why. Everyone knows that this is terrible real estate market, right? WRONG! It is true that it may not be the best time to sell a home. It is true that there are a lot of foreclosures and short sale homes on the market for sale that are helping to drive prices down.... Some interesting statistics about the market right now for Sonoma County CA as of March 14th, 2008. My appraiser put these numbers together for me to get an idea of what is going on in each section of western Sonoma County (basically, along the hwy 101 corridor). A short sale is when a seller plans to sell a home for less than what is owed on the home and the bank agrees to take less than what they are owed.
