I recently met up with an investor from California who wanted to hire me to manage his portfolio. I spoke with him over the phone last week to learn more about his property and to set realistic expectations before signing up to be his property manager. He had very simple realistic expectations. Well, I finally met (12 comments)

I just wanted to inform everyone that the hot weather is here in Phoenix. Yes, we do live in a desert. Plus, the concrete does not help at all with the heat. We hit 120 degrees in Phoenix this past week. The Phoenix International Airport did cancel 50 flights due to the hot weather. Now, this is the time I get maintenance calls for air conditioners going it. People want them fixed NOW. We do not guarantee same day service. However, there are times we do hit the mark.
I started my day off like any other day with being at the office early to catch up on paperwork and to return phone calls. I answered my phone about midmorning from a past investor that decided to stop using me as her property manager because I was leaving for another company. She decided to stay with the existing Phoenix Property Management company. I respected her wishes and continue to move on to start my own Phoenix Property Management company. Her first question was “Are you still doing Phoenix Property Management?” I informed that (0 comments)

I have to admit that the property management business is not for everyone. I told myself I would never do Phoenix Property Management when I obtained my license back in 2002. I stayed away from it because everyone told me it was very difficult. I was offered an opportunity in 2009 to join a firm that offered real estate selling plus property management. The rest is history. Today, I have my own real estate brokerage called Real Estate and Beyond, LLC. We offer management and sales to all. I have put my Phoenix Property Management (14 comments)
