I set a goal for myself to reach 150,000 points before August 31,2009. Well, I have accomplished this goal ahead of schedule. I want to thank everyone at AR headquarters and the community members for making this a positive experience to this point. Currently, I am obtaining requests to show other people how to implement social network marketing into their business.
Real estate is a contact sport. So, we have to find multiple ways to stay in contact with people such as E-mail, cards, phone, in person, and online social networks (ActiveRain.)

The Federal Government has been on a spending spree this month by allocating $3 billion towards "CASH FOR CLUNKERS." The goal of the program was to give people incentive to trade in their old car for a new one to stimulate the car industry. People were able to obtain up to $4500 in incentives. However, many experts have stated that this caused a limited supply of good used cars and parts for the month of August. However, I am sure one can still obtain a great deal on used cars.

Guaranty Bank was closed by FDIC this Friday to be the third largest failure to date. We have had 81 bank failures in 2009. When will it end? It had $13 billion in assets and $12 billion in deposits. BBVA Compass has purchased this bank from FDIC. It is a bank out of Spain and it is on the move. I bank at BBVA Compass here in Phoenix, AZ. I am very pleased with their services.

A man has been charged for obtaining 130 million credit card numbers by illegal action. It is the biggest American case of identity theft to this date. They hacked into retail computer systems illegally to obtain the credit card numbers. Three men have been arrested in the case. They each face up to 20 years in prison and pay a fine of up to $250,000. That would not be a problem for them-JUST CHARGE IT.

We have witnessed the highest bank failure rate since the Great Depression. The banking industry continues on a weekly basis. When will it end? That is my question. Are you able to relate to one of the pictures above? These are the faces of our American economy. Everybody is waiting for something to happen in order to turn this ship on the right course. People are not spending money as we continue to foreclose on properties, unemployment rate at 10% and American people are either losing their job entirely or taking 20% or more pay cuts.
