Life seems to have gotten in the way of my blogging lately. It happens. I've been so busy helping my clients with their businesses (thank goodness) that I seem to have severely limited my playtime in the Rain. When I logged in tonight and saw that the illustrious Todd Clark has reached a million points, I decided that I needed to pull on my galoshes and raincoat and really get my feet wet in the Rain again. I consider paying it forward to be one of Active Rain's biggest assets. At the Active Rain workshop last week, Brad Andersohn talked about how he had gone through a toll booth and paid an extra $5 to help pay for the tolls of people behind him. He did this for no other reason than he wanted to do something nice and it was an easy, quick and simple way to do it, with no expectations of anything in return. The first Active Rain workshop held in Phoenix AZ yesterday was quite an event. If you didn't attend, you missed a good time. The most important thing I learned was the AR New Math: 14 hrs of driving + 2 Active Rain Gurus + 1 Banana + 1 Cosmic Cow Pie = 1 Heckuva Good Time!
