Why Active Rain is Like Church
With all the Server Error 500 messages I kept getting yesterday, I swear I was at Catholic Mass: you were up, then you were down, you were up, then you were down, you were up, then you were down, you did alot of praying, chanted some words (although, not the ones to be uttered in the actual house of the Lord) and, eventually, sang the praises of God when the error messages deceased. In fact, I think I'm going to count it as a visit to Our Lady of the Valley.

This is the reason I became a virtual assistant: my son, Christopher. This is him on his last birthday. Even though he is a teenager, we had a low-key birthday this year with just my husband (his father), my son and me. So, instead of a cake, I bought cupcakes. That's cookie monster he's giving the peace sign behind (or is it rabbit ears). Anyway, Chris is the reason I do what I do, make the decisions I make and live the life that I live. He is my one and only baby-love.

Years ago, I worked from home as a copywriter for an environmental company. They were hired to perform environmental impact reports on properties for sale to make sure no leaking underground storage tanks were located in the ground at any time or that the chemicals in the soil were within government regulations and that no hazardous materials were ever stored improperly on the premises, among other things.
