Grounds of a beautiful old mansion along the Delaware River off of State Rd in Bensalem 19020.It has been restored and is now being used for parties and weddings .It is called Pen Ryn & Belle Vior Manor.The mansion is very elegant and has a historical story to go with it. This mansion is situated on over a 100 acres. What a wonderful place for a wedding or any special occasion!

Hidden away among a community of homes called Neshaminy Valley in Bensalem Bucks County is another Mansion.The Growden Mansion dating back to 1752.and where Ben Franklin visited his friend Joseph Growden.While there; he decided to fly his kite and key ,and thus discover electricity....There are lots of story's about this house...It is said you can see bullet holes in the Outbuildings where the "Red coats" fired shots to gain entrance to retrieve documents belonging to Benjamin Franklin.... there is a day dedicated to Kite flying on these grounds and people come from all over to fly theirs kites... historical: Bensalem beauty hidden away! - 03/09/09 10:25 PM
After a Saturday morning at the office I took a drive. There are beautiful tree lined roads in Torresdale the section of Phila. Pa. which boarders on Bensalem Bucks County.You don't even know you are out of the City of Phila.until you see "Welcome to Bensalem".You see all these historical signs.These were the country roads where our founding fathers traveled. They are paved city streets now . I wonder if they walked into town,traveled by horse, or maybe by boat.. There are a few of the original estates left along the Delaware River with signs that say "Private Property Do Not Enter".A few have been converted into Banquet facilities

Sunday morning at the office read my favorite blogger's posts,set up appointments,made calls to clients Before i knew it it was late afternoon so home to Delaire Landing in Phila.Pa Since my appointment was there for the following day I decided to take a brisk walk with my camera..First I came across the Geese at the pool..then while walking down the paths i came to the observation deck where I came to some of my favorite senior citizens.They never recognize me without my bathing suit so i ask "when does the pool open"The funny thing is they know!
