Our youngest daughter Alison, surprised us today with an e-mail that said she is one of 3 in the District with a shot at getting (winning) a $1000. savings bond for her poster.  The energy company Oncor came by their school and brought big pads of drawing paper, Markets, Crayons, colored pencils and paints and they gave a presentation to the 5th graders about electricity and some safety tips. All of the kids took home this gift set and then they asked the students to draw a poster about what they had learned and submit it to win a $1000. savings … (2 comments)

This blog is not to start or fire up a firestorm-just to ask that my friends join me in using a clear head about these issues. I have made a personal decision: from now on if I don't read the issue-I don't comment on it. You know sometimes I end up speaking to people in other countries during my workdays. Today I had called India for help on their 800 number 5 times and I was more than a little bit peeved when they continued to cut me off and disconnect every time they put me on hold. For those Sellers who are wanting their REALTOR to hold an open house think about these real statistics:
