FHA changes- Avon Indiana - 09/02/10 10:43 AM
Avon Indiana rela estate. Big changes to the way FHA collects the upfront PMI and the monthly PMI effective October 4, 2010. The monthly PMI is more, and is now going to be much more than the average conventional loan, but the amount they pay-up front is reduced. I believe FHA is going to make more money as a result. One possible explanation as to the reason they are making the change is due to the fact that the current 30 yr FHA rate is at 4.25%.
