I have been a member of the community for appox 2 weeks now and I have found it to be very entertaining and informative. I have posted a couple of blogs and have commented on others. I hope the readers have gotten some useful information from my postings.
Now I have viewed numerous blogs about homes for sale with pictures. Some of these homes I would love to live in and others I have seen would love to get in them and change things. I guess that comes from the architectural designer in me. I find myself sitting sometime staring at … (4 comments)

Old Buildings and My Ramblings - 08/01/08 06:02 PM

Old buildings are amazing in their architecture. The quality and craftsmanship you find in them are absolutely outstanding. You can see and almost feel the dedication that was poured into the design and the work. Somewhere along the line we have lost that dedication, now all we are worry about is how fast we can knock down an old building and replace it with one that has no other purpose other than just to provide a place to make a few dollars and then it's abandon until the next investor comes along and knocks it down.
