Market activity and sales continue to improve over the greater Portland area market, while listing inventory continues to fall creating a faster selling market time.
In Southeast Portland comparing August 2009 with September 2009 the Number of active listings has dropped while the number of Pending Sales has increased. Solds are down for the month and Days on the market have increased slightly by 4 days.
Average Sales Price for the month have increased by $8,900 over last month and Median price has increased as well by $1,000.

What a wonderful afternoon it was shaping up to be. The sun was shining and all things appeared well with my then current group of Buyer's transactions. Thinking it could not get much better than this, my phone rang and it did.

If you can't here the screams for help, perhaps it's because of all the complaining you've been doing. The Real Estate Market that we are experiencing is a natural part of Business.
It is NOT NATURAL for Real Estate prices to escalate yearly in double digits. It is not often as Real Estate Agents that we are afforded the opportunity to watch our peers work. Strange as it may seem there are as many ways to conduct business as there are practitioners.

After a full weekend of previewing and showing homes to my new clients from out of town I am confident they truly are educated about our Portland Market.
Portland Oregon has enjoyed and for the most part weathered the Real Estate market fairly well over the last 2 years. The Perception factor of course has not helped with all of that negative news being reported in some of the less fortunate market places.

I just love a success story. And this one is a Great one. As a Real Estate Broker working in the greater Portland Oregon Metro area it is always a joy to see peoples needs fulfilled. So often in this Real Estate market we here of the Tragic Story instead of the Success Story.
A couple of months back I received an email generated from my Buyer's_Web_Site_&_MLS_Connection. Now I have answered this question thousands of times over the last 19+ years that I have been in business usually with a simple answer like" I don't make decisions for my Seller's ".

Portland Oregon sometimes called Bridge Town due to all of the bridges that cross the Willamette River separating East Portland from West Portland. Nestled between Mt._Tabor and the Willamette River on the East side is Beautiful Laurelhurst Park and Neighborhood.
