September 11, 2001.  America was attacked by terrorists, killing nearly 3,000 people.  Four planes were hijacked by terrorists; two used on the World Trade Center Buildings, one used to hit the Pentagon, and one was heroically downed by those in it so it couldn't be used against other Americans (United Airlines Flight 93).  Today, I would like to honor those killed or who gave their lives to save others during this catastrophe.
