Wow, what is up with this weather?  This whole year has been so weird.  We were so warm a few days ago and then wham bam this Nor'easter.  Our hearts go out to all those in the TriState without power.

I thought this was a good post about Radon from Mark Aakjar.  Radon does seem to be an issue in Westchester county, so it's good to get your new home tested.  Thankfully, this is an issue that can be easily resolved.

We also get a lot of inquiries about asbestos tile.  I'm reblogging this from Mark Aakjar.  This comes up often in basements, especially when there are floods and they start to become dislodged.
