8000 tax credit: Your Running Out of Time on the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit - 01/20/10 09:25 AM
Your Running Out of Time on the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit. Did you know there are only 100 days left to get in on this great incentive? That's right at 11:59 pm of April 30, 2010 the tax credit will expire and the likelihood of it being extended is pretty grim. For most first time home buyers it takes time to find the right house, you could get lucky and find the right house and get your offer accepted in just a matter of days, however for most that doesnt seem to be the case. This process can sometimes

8000 tax credit: First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit Extension - Something to be Happy About - 11/05/09 06:56 AM
Orlando & Lake Mary First Time Home Buyers have something to be happy about this morning. The First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit has passed the Senate last night with a majority vote of 98-0. Now the bill goes to the House where it could be voted on as early as today. The passing of this bill is great news, but what's even better is this tax credit not only applies to first time home buyers but to home owners looking to purchase a move up home. I think this is the last little boost the housing sector needs to

8000 tax credit: Lake Mary First Time Home Buyers - Last weeks to get the $8000 tax credit - 09/30/09 03:51 PM
Lake Mary First Time Home Buyers have you been sitting on the fence thinking about buying, really wanting to buy so you can take advantage of the free $8000 tax credit out there. Well dont sit too much long as the deadline for the tax credit is fast approaching. Many of you know the incentive runs out on November 30, 2009 That's almost 2 months away, I have plenty of time. WRONG! The standard FHA financing deal takes a minimum of 45 days now thanks to Regulation Z. With that being said lets say you put a contract in this weekend

8000 tax credit: Lake Mary Homes for Sale - But buyers cant buy them - 09/19/09 08:28 AM
Lake Mary Homes are for sale, but buyers, especially first time home buyers cannot buy them. Why? Because investors are back in the market. The chosen method of payment for Lake Mary investors is Cash and in this market cash is KING. Many first time home buyers find themselves scrambling to take advantage of the $8000 first time home buyer tax credit, only to be meet with little inventory and heavy competition on those homes, generally beat out by an investor willing to pay cash for the home. Lowering the risk for most bank owned properties. First Time Home Buyers

8000 tax credit: Pst... I cant help you use your $8000 tax credit as your Down Payment - 07/02/09 07:42 AM
I know lenders and other Realtors are telling you it's not true you cant do it, they are WRONG. I wrote a blog the other day for First Time Home Buyers wanting to use their $8000 Tax Credit as their Down Payment. It's true it can be used as your minimum 3.5% down payment however very few people will have the opportunity to do so. I have worked with Government agencies in Seminole & Orange County helping first time home buyers for years get assistance and this time it's no different. The State has granted local agencies throughout Florida a certain amount

8000 tax credit: Orlando First Time Home Buyers use your $8000 Tax Credit as your Down Payment - 06/30/09 09:58 AM
Ok there have been rumors, I have posted blogs and had to retract those blogs. I have spoken to local and state agencies as well as the Government agency on the national level that is handling the First Time Home Buyer tax credit and have the skinny. The program is called Florida Home Buyer Opportunity Program. Phew, what a name, but yes if you are a qualifying first time home buyer you will be able to use your $8000 tax credit as your down payment. However the rule is it's up to $8000 or 10% of the homes purchase price. IE: you buy
