So I wrote a blog earlier torn between my better judgment and my sellers wishes. They want to drive traffic to their home and get it sold so they came up with the idea of adding a 2007 z07 corvette to the buyer who offers at or near list price. My suggestion was to lower the price and just open up the pool of buyers. Looks like I may have educated them and we are getting ready to lower the asking price on the home by $200,000. I have sellers that want to include their 2007 Z07 corvette with the purchase of their home, offer must be near or at purchase price. Thoughts on this? I think it would make for some great marketing, but I dont feel this will really sell the house. I am looking to throw a soiree for a luxury listing that I have. I would like to invite individuals that have the wealth to afford the home, possibly local congressman or a mayor or someone of importance to the home. I intend to have appetizers catered and a wine tasting all while previewing this home and hopefully finding a buyer.
