Orlando Real Estate Market in review for the week of July 19 -25, 2009. There is a portion of the Central Florida real estate market that is moving at a fast clip with properties flying off the shelf, then there are other segments of our market that are barely moving off the starting line.

If you decide that you should continue renting or need to fix items in your credit there are a few things you can do. In recent conversation with a buyer I told her to ask for a Home Purchase clause in her lease when she renewed. It would allow her out of her lease in 30 days should she go under contract for a home and not have to pay a penalty. Nothing to do about Real Estate, but with most people going to be out and about this Fourth of July weekend I find this information to be quite fitting. Especially living here in Central Florida. Now I am a proclaimed mosquito magnet and have been since I was a child. I will come out peppered in bits which I am allergic too and everyone else will maybe have a bit. We just received our numbers today for the Month of April and I am happy to report I think we have found a turn in the market. This doesnt mean prices are going to go up, but it's the start of a the road to recovery.

So as most people know Orlando is ranked 13th for the most amount of foreclosure, depending on who's writing the article we are in the top 10. With that said it's not a Buyers Market unless you are buying and a wealthy man once told me when the streets are running red with blood, buy buy buy. Didnt matter what it was and well part of the reason he is quite wealthy.

Just recently Forbes published the top ten cleanest cities in America. Of the 10 cities 4 of them were located right here in the Sunshine state of Florida.
Orlando ranked number 4 on the list, just behind Miami and Jacksonville.
I guess Orlando isnt just about Disney or Tourism, we care about our enviroment and can boost some of the cleanest air in the country. Orlando scores big on ozone and air pollution levels.

Ok so the next time you visit Orlando and even if you live here you have to try the Pancake Breakfast at the Old Sugar Mill. It's a little bit of a drive but well worth it. It's a hidden secret that has been here since I believe late 1800s or early 1900s.
