downtown orlando: Downtown Orlando Farmer's Market 2 years after it's Rebirth - 07/13/09 10:50 PM
Almost 2 years ago to the day I wrote a blog post about the changes coming for the Downtown Orlando Farmer's Market I am proud to say that the farmers market has done a complete 180 and has truly become a destination place for many locals on Sundays.
I love stopping by to get some fresh produce for Sunday dinners and week breakfast (I love the grapefruits)
Or some exotic blends of cheese's from an old high school friend that's there every Sunday.
Plus who can argue with live music and a beer garden while taking in the sights and sounds of … (0 comments)

It's a carefully planned neighborhood that has a true sense of community and is one of the friendliest one's in Orlando. With seemlingly endless places to meet up with your neighbors, friends and family all homes are walking distince to the local Publix, shops, doctors offices, CVS, schools and many restaurants, located all within the community.
Miles of endless sidewalk and trails blend seemlessly with the surrounding lakes and … (1 comments)

This past Friday I had a chance to visit my favorite sub shop, Jimmy Johns. Jimmy Johns recently opened their newest location in Downtown Orlando in the old Rythm and Flow building on the corner of Central and Orange ave. For years this has been one of my favorite lunch spots in Michigan and I am happy to see it just a few blocks from my house.
If you visit Jimmy Johns during the business lunch time you will see a line down the block of hungry patrons, but dont let that scare you. In a matter of 5 minutes or … (4 comments)

It's here, it's finally here. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning this morning. My boyfriend woke up around 7:30 this morning to go golfing. While I jumped out of bed, threw on some clothes and walked the short 4 minute walk down Central to the Grand Opening of the Downtown Urban Publix. Oh I was giddy with delight. It has been nearly 3 decades since there was a grocery store located in the heart of Downtown Orlando. When I walked through the doors this morning the bright gleam of white light came filtering through. The shiny waxed floors and … (0 comments)

I was walking around my place this morning and noticed some men putting out orange tap on the brick lined street of Summerlin just kitty corner from my balcony, in front of Wildsides. When I went outside I noticed a large gaping hole with no end … (10 comments)
