Downtown Orlando residents have battled for years to bring a big screen movie theater to the downtown Orlando area. It's one of the missing key components to make Orlando a true city. We thought our dreams were realized back in 2006 when Kuhn had started building a theater in the Solaire / The Plaza building. Of course over the past year or so those dreams have been dashed continuously, until recently. The long-anticipated, 12-screen downtown movie theater will open in The Plaza on Orange Avenue in July — really!

With most people feeling the pinch at the pump, more and more people are moving into urban cities to be closer to work and well just about everything and forgoing their vehicles.
Most people move to the suburbs because they want A rates schools, more space to move around, this perceived notation that it can't be found downtown. So now that you live in the burbs you spend half your life fighting traffic and driving to and from work, not truly enjoying this paradise you think you purchased.

Despite the downturn of the home market in Central Florida, during the last two year's building frenzy development after development have gone into the works in Downtown Orlando. This was once a sleepy town but no longer. Downtown over the next 5 years while experience a rebirth and growth like no other city.
