The fun started this Friday when Claudia arrived at my home downtown Orlando and we headed to the NAR convention at the Orange County Convention Center. We arrived around 10 am with our free expo pass in hand. However the exhibits didnt open til 4 pm. So what would we do. Since we valet parked we decided to walk around a little and scoop things out. Then headed out to Chili's on Apopka Vineland for some lunch.

This week I had the opportunity to go out with my new clients. They are relocating here from Ft. Bragg and he is a Green Beret. They are newly weds and first time home buyers, my specialty. A high-density development in Lake Mary got approval from the County Commission on Tuesday, but only after developer Bob Horian agreed to significantly reduce building height. The development is on Sun Drive near Greenwood Lakes Boulevard. Horian asked to modify an original development agreement from several years ago that would let him build condos on land previously approved for offices and town homes. Horian had proposed a 75-foot condo building on one tract. Commissioner Carlton Henley, whose district includes the Sun Drive development, balked at the height.
