After all these years Lake Mary High school is getting a pool. Why didn't they have a pool when I went there hmmm? The school board had delayed building the pool on fears of funding being cut, but now has the green light. The super intendent Bill Vogel is still against the pool but the board voted it in. It's a $2 million pool that is to be used by the school and the public. It's suppose to help spur the economy.Not sure how that is going to spur things. Often times when we go on vacation we feel bad for leaving our four legged children behind. I know I always felt bad taking my cat to the vet to be boarded for the week. I wondered how miserable it must be to be stuck in a cage for a week when you are used to the freedom of the outdoors or ruling the roost. My pets always seemed to be happy to see me but at the same time pissed off at the fact they were placed in a non happy place.

Well the good news came today that the Senate has passed the new HR bill that will also for Down Payment Assistance Programs like Nehemiah to stay around. There will be more restrictions on the program such as credit scores, which I think there should be, but it's a step in the right direction. One more push for it to go through Congress and hopefully come October 1 it will be business as usual and I will be able to continue helping first time home buyers such as yourself get into homes.
