With mortgage rates still historically low and rents rising rapidly this is such a great time to buy a house, it will not get better, time to really make sure our buyers know that. In fact we believe that people who sat on the fence last fall waiting for further drops in the Addison County and Chittenden County Vermont markets will never see those prices again and have now "lost" money as home prices are starting to rise and inventory in the under $300K way down.

Top Ten Real Estate Markets to Watch - 03/13/11 02:12 PM
So Vermont makes the national real estate news again. In the latest Inman News (a dedicated real estate news site) Burlington and South Burlington make the list at number seven top real estate markets to watch. A few figures to concentrate on. Median sales price was $270,600 compared to $202,000 in the rest of the state. Days on market for this area were 126 compared to 161 for the rest of the state.

Leaving for Las Vegas... - 03/07/11 09:11 AM
...or so I had hoped. A March snowstorm is raging through Vermont and my flight to Las Vegas for the LeadingRE Conference has been delayed. I will miss the first day but I hope to have three great days still, that is as long as I can get out of Vermont today. I should have seen this coming and left yesterday but the weather report certainly did not predict this size storm until way too late for me to change my flight pattern. At this point the reports of me even getting to Burlington from Middlebury are getting slim! And looks … (3 comments)
