Last Saturday night, I took my husband and 15 year old son on a date to see Oklahoma! at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. It was great performance and well worth taking an evening or afternoon to see. The show, which will close on October 2, 2011, is performed in 'the round' (although the stage itself is square--I think you still call it 'the round.'). This makes for wonderful views from every seat. The performers enter from the four corners of the stage and perform all the musical numbers by rotating so that audience members can enjoy all the performers. The … (2 comments)
