competition: Sellers--Trust Your Realtor, But Don't Bury Your Head in The Sand - 01/31/10 08:57 AM
I have an automatic search that I run daily on my MLS. Last weekend a new property came up and I contacted one of my clients to see if she had any interest in seeing it. There was no picture, so I described the home to her and she drove by to do a quick check. It was not in an area of the neighborhood that interested her, so we did not pursue a showing. This morning, running my search, the property came up again due to a change in the listing. In reviewing the change, it seems it was a

competition: Getting Your House Ready to Sell Series: Sell Your House in 2009 - 01/01/09 10:17 AM
I just spent a couple of minutes reviewing the listings in my local area and I have a couple of observations for sellers that, hopefully, will help you to sell your house in 2009.You have probably heard all of these things from your Broker and/or the media, but if you have a house to sell, it is time to listen. competition: Ode to the Olympics and Family Time every 4 Years - 08/12/08 03:39 PM
My family loves the Olympics! They don't care about the politics, they only care about injuries that might keep their favorite athletes from competing. Not politically correct, but the truth! Once every four years you can find us all cheerfully scattered around the family room rooting for the 'home team.' There are no complaints of boredom, or 'forced' family time. The kids talk about the upcoming events for weeks. They scour the paper and watch endless re-runs of competition footage. They can remember every Summer Olympics since about the age of 5--and they talk about them. I find this astounding!
