I was an early registrant of Twitter.  I got it.  I did not, however, jump on the Twitter bandwagon. Frankly, I was focused on ActiveRain and did not want to get distracted. I really never cared what Ashton Kutcher was doing and I get my news soundbites  from TV, Radio or computer.
THEN ActiveRain added the Twitter feed.  Soon I was Tweeting with the best of them--only not really.  Yes, I was sending out Tweets with  links to my blog, but I was not using Twitter the way others were. I wasn't sending out Tweets.  I felt good though; when people … (14 comments)

Here is the scenario: Large rental company, unhappy tenant.  Tenant Tweets that the rental company does not have a problem with its tenants sleeping in moldy apartments. Large  company sues because the tenant has made defamatory statements and permanently injured its reputation by passing this statement around the internet. This is exactly the kind of statement that can get you/us/me into a whole host of trouble.  The Tweet (with the name removed to protect me from similar trouble) read, "Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? If you are already 'tweeting' on Twitter, you can skip this post, but if you are not, there is a really easy way to become a 'Tweeter.' ActiveRain makes it very simple to send notification of your new posts to Twitter.  It is amazing how quickly you will develop a following on Twitter simply by allowing AR to update your Twitter with notification of your new posts. How do you do this?
