twitter: Create a Custom 'Skin' for Your Twitter Account - 03/10/10 05:02 PM
If you are like me, you don't have time to do all the things you HAVE to do--much less the things you SHOULD do. I read an article today that said I should have  custom 'skin' as the background on my Twitter Account.
Well, I had a few free minutes and decided to go to the application, FreeTwitterDesign.com. It took me a couple of minutes, but I was able to give myself a custom background, upload my company logo and put in some basic contact information.
I read that it was important to put my contact info on the left side … (4 comments)

twitter: Why Am I Twittering? - 10/16/09 08:41 AM
About a month ago, I put up a post about Twitter: My Twitter Challenge To Myself . The idea was that I would make a concerted effort to Tweet on a daily basis and see if I could significantly increase my Twitter followers and drive consumers to my website and blog. The original personal challenge was for two weeks.  It has been about four weeks. This is what I have found so far:

twitter: Tweeting for Trouble - 07/30/09 10:03 AM
Here is the scenario: Large rental company, unhappy tenant.  Tenant Tweets that the rental company does not have a problem with its tenants sleeping in moldy apartments. Large  company sues because the tenant has made defamatory statements and permanently injured its reputation by passing this statement around the internet. This is exactly the kind of statement that can get you/us/me into a whole host of trouble.  The Tweet (with the name removed to protect me from similar trouble) read, "Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? XXXX XXX thinks it's okay." In the days before social media, … (56 comments)

twitter: How to Become a 'Tweeter'...The Easy Way - 07/30/09 08:57 AM
If you are already 'tweeting' on Twitter, you can skip this post, but if you are not, there is a really easy way to become a 'Tweeter.' ActiveRain makes it very simple to send notification of your new posts to Twitter.  It is amazing how quickly you will develop a following on Twitter simply by allowing AR to update your Twitter with notification of your new posts. How do you do this?
