Housing bubble in Halifax? - 11/29/09 07:16 AM

Here is an interesting article from the CBC news. A report for Scotiabank is stating the the housing market throughout Canada is overpriced and a correction will be coming. Although if you do read the full article they say, "No slump is seen imminent." One nice thing about living is Nova Scotia is that our prices did not go straight up so therefore even if there is a correction our prices should prices drop dramatically. The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation just released their latest stats a few hours ago. Hot off the press, so to speak, please click on the thumbnail to the left to read the full article. In Brief the numbers will be down slightly for 2009 but forecast to improve in 2010. This is not surprising if you remember last January and February as the market was almost at a standstill.
