real estate: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Condo Listing - 09/29/10 01:05 PM
Just reduced the price of my Condo listing on Windmill road in Dartmouth to $86,500 down from $91,500. This is really a great deal at this price.
If one puts roughly 10% down your payments would be only about $420 plus the condo fees. So one would be looking at about $700/month. You are now developing equity and not making your landlord rich!
Below is the video of the Condo and the link to the MLS is here.

This is a really exciting post. Bloom energy has invented a new fuel cell technology that will be available to power your home energy needs in the form of a box. It is much cleaner than traditional sources of energy so it does not leave a heavy "carbon footprint."
These Bloom Box products promise to not only bring ample amounts of power in a small amount of space, but to change people's dependency on traditional power grids. All for less than $3,000 a unit. Sound too good to be true? Please click on the image below to read the full … (1 comments)

real estate: Interest Rates staying low in Halifax, Nova Scotia - 01/12/10 08:41 AM
Here is good news if you were thinking of buying a home in Nova Scotia. The Bank of Canada is not going to be raising interest in the near future. Although it is interesting to note that some "experts" are saying there is a housing "bubble" beginning to form. I say interesting because last year we had one of the biggest Real Estate scares in decades with transactions almost stopping in Jan - Feb. real estate: Ocean front homes in Nova Scotia. - 02/17/07 01:30 PM

By Michael Smith
My girlfriend and I drove down to Chester, Nova Scotia from Halifax today via the scenic route. Here is a photo we took on the way of some lobster fishermen. Less than an hour drive.
Once in Chester we stopped at the Focsle Tavern for lunch. Man, they had an awesome Cajun chicken burger. Here is a very short video of the tavern just for fun. (It's the oldest Tavern in Nova Scotia).
