I am pleased and excited to announce that I have recreated my grandfather's real estate business with offices in Austin Texas and Davis County Utah (north of Salt Lake City).  My grandfather began building and selling homes as early as 1918 and officially established Holbrook Realty in October of 1954 in Bountiful, Utah.  I earned my Utah real estate license in 1977 and worked with my cousin who was the principal broker of Holbrook Realty at the time.  I moved to Austin, Texas in 1989 and have been a top producing agent at Prudential Owens Realty and RE/MAX for nearly 20 years.  I now hold broker's licenses in both Texas and Utah.  In the current real estate market it's more important than ever to protect yourself by working with an experienced Realtor.  I encourage you to pass my name along when you know someone who needs to buy or sell real estate.  I appreciate referrals and look forward to working with your friends and family.

Several people have recently asked me about foreclosures and short sales.  I am compiling a list of the best value priced properties that will be updated weekly.  If you would like to receive my weekly Best Buy property list just send me an email.  Also, feel free to send me the name and email of anyone you know who might be interested in receiving this list of value priced, foreclosure or short sale properties.

It's easy to be discouraged by all of the real estate news in the media.  The truth is that mortgages are still available for qualified buyers and interest rates are near all time lows.  There are even several new programs specifically designed to help buyers purchase homes.  For example, ‘first time homebuyers' (or someone who has not owned a home for at least 3 years) can receive a tax credit of up to $7,500 by purchasing a home prior to July 1, 2009.  Qualifying buyers can purchase foreclosed HUD homes for as little as a $100 down payment.  Please call me to see if you are eligible for any of these incentive programs.

Some of my listings are currently offering owner financing.  For more information or to search the entire MLS check out my website, www.Home4URFamily.com.
