Credit Unions are a great place to save. Credit unions are nonprofits and that makes then a whole lot nicer to do business with because they aren't motivated to squeeze every dollar out of you with penalties and exorbitant fees. They are also less likely to shut down your credit card for no reason, and the fees they do charge are typically lower than bank-issue credit cards.
