 Hi ACTIVERAINERS,
As you will see the budget on this one wasn't huge but it certainly made enough difference to influence buyers.
This home had multiple offers,  SOLD in 14 days and exceeded asking !  What more could you ask for?
  The homeowners are convinced that STAGING did the trick ... I like to think so ;o)  
    
Noticed the artwork from the dinning area makes for a suitable piece in the guestroom below
(Piano to the left of the doorway in "before" was dark and shrunk the room considerably)

 Have you been TOOTING YOUR OWN HORN?
If you are anything like us, you have probably done tons of promotional emails, trade shows,  WALKED (the line) in and out of every Realtors office in a 200km radius, provided company/country stats, shown books full of before and afters, have testimonials from real people who swear staging was their TICKET ( to a speedy sale) and despite being DERAILED every now and again,  you vow to continue till you have converted everyone on the WRONG SIDE of THE TRACKS. Am I right?

Sometimes as  Stagers /Organizers we tend to look at things differently. We see a space like a puzzle and we go to work rearranging it to fit all the pieces in perfectly. When we are done it looks good and we have some how increased the floor space and the flow within in the room. Such was the case in this ground floor home office. It was a simple fix but the client just couldn't see it. I immediately went to work changing the placement of the desk giving it a window view to the beautiful area just beyond. Hello again,
Living in the country about 40 or so minutes from Montreal has it's benefits. For the most obvious reasons; larger properties (farmettes), lower taxes, closer bond with neighbors and of course a lifestyle. It has been a great place to raise our children without the worries of city living. Now in their late teens my children would say they had an amazing childhood filled with adventure but living in the" Mook Mook" as they call it now has it's down falls. I am certain in a few more years they will once again come to appreciate the country life … (4 comments)

Hi all,
 Here is another room we staged in the same home as the Viking bed ... Dad had created another interesting bed for one of this little ones. I took the idea of the woodland and nature theme and made it a little less scary and woodsy...

By reusing the master room bedding and art from the master bathroom (not sure what they were thinking) we  turned this little girls room into a Fairyland ... in less than 20 minutes. The little girl loved it and the parents were so please that we had elaborated on their vision...

As winters' end draws near and signs of spring are evident by the buzz of activity in your neighborhood, you realize you are not alone in the required duties of owing a home. There's nothing better than a warm spring day to get a jump start on yard detail...specifically taking down Christmas decorations. Like most of us, an occasion to get all dressed up can be an opportunity to pamper ourselves and have a little fun doing it. We may spend the morning at the spa (schedule permitting) for massage, manicure and getting our hair done. Probably another half day was spent at the mall (factory outlets) finding that perfect dress or pantsuit to wear.
