CTHomeLocator.com: SOLD to a client that "Just Wanted To Look"!
Nancy is the Proud New Owner!

Here was a buyer that said "Don't put too much effort into me I'm not in a hurry and I'm not sure I will even buy, I'm just looking".
I could have looked for a willing, ready and able buyer but I treat all my contacts the same; I give them my all no matter what!
I hear agents talk all the time about not waisting their time with buyers that aren't ready. I don't believe anyone that contacts me is a waste of … (10 comments)

Killingly, Connecticut: Short Sale Road Block! - 09/12/09 05:57 AM
Killingly, Connecticut: Short Sale Road Block!

Oh how I can relate to the FRUSTRATION Short Sales can put us Realtors through!
For weeks I searched the Internet, made countless phone calls, sent a bunch of emails, set up appointments, drove around with my client and looked at sooo many homes until we found the perfect fit. As a Realtor I pride myself on being patient. I care about my clients needs and search as if the situation were my own. I put myself in their shoes so to speak and it's what I believe is one of my many abilities … (10 comments)

Killingly, Connecticut: Syracuse, NY Dinosaur Bar-B-Que!

My first visit this past Sunday will certainly not be my last to The Dionosaur Bar-B-Que!
For the past year I have heard how awesome the bar-b-que was and how it had won awards and was told I have to try it. I wasn't disappointed! Having lived in North Carolina and taste tested many Bar-B-Que's I didn't think it would stand out to my pallet. How wrong I was! I would recommend to anyone visitingthe Syracuse area to stop in for a bite to eat; it's fabulous and the portions will fill you … (6 comments)

Killingly, Connecticut: Syracuse, NY State Fair Trip! - 09/10/09 08:15 AM
Killingly, Connecticut: Syracuse, NY State Fair Trip!

Jeff and I were two of 107,213 people that ventured into the NY State Fair on Saturday! It was amazing to see so many families enjoy what turned out to be a gorgeous day! Attendance was up 21,355 over the same day last year and up 43,402 for the year! There were times it felt crowded and yet the fair is so vast you could move around freely for the most part and see everything (provided you could figure out where you had been and what you hadn't seen yet)
The food was great and … (2 comments)

Killingly, Connecticut: Syracuse, NY State Fair Trip!

Hello!
I thought I would share my Holiday Weekend Plans!

We are driving up to Syracuse, New York to take in the State Fair! It will be a first for me so I'm pretty excited! We bought tickets to see Kid Rock & Uncle Cracker perform at the Mohegan Sun Grandstand! We are staying overnight so we won't have to fight the traffic driving back after what I hope turns out to be an awesome day. I'll post my pictures of the fair on Monday for all to see … (6 comments)

Killingly, Connecticut: Home Clean Out Services - 09/03/09 04:32 PM
Killingly, Connecticut: Home Clean Out Services
LOOKING FOR A HOME CLEAN OUT SERVICE?

Look no further; Jeffrey L. Decker is at your service!

As Realtors we've all had to deal with the aftermath of the foreclosure explosion! There are so many items left behind by disappointed home owners. Some homes are left in need of major clean out projects that no one seems to know who to turn to to get the job done.
Jeffrey saw the need to assist banks, investors and new buyers with the task of cleaning up the mess. He's proffessional, punctual and his rate are … (2 comments)

Killingly Connecticut Parks Brought To You By JCKC Realty: Cat Hollow Town Park! - 09/02/09 02:23 PM

CAT HOLLOW TOWN PARK
Take it from this "Kat"
Cat Hollow is a great little park for its Killingly visitors!

Cat Hollow Town Park opened in 2003. The park offers a 1/2 mile trail along Cat Hollow Road that is suitable for bicycles and strollers. The road is closed off to traffic. The trail parallels the Whetstone Brook and a beautiful mill pond and waterfalls.

With Fall approaching, Cat Hollow is a great place to take a stroll!
People in general tend to open up more about what's going on in their lives while feeling a part of nature. So take … (2 comments)
