Yesterday when showing my favorite listing in Monkton and walking to the river cottage, I saw this downed tree and realized right away that... George Washington did not do this!
More about beavers.
Talk about sheer beauty...take a look at a few photos while hiking on the NCR trail to the river cottage. This little cottage would make a great fishing/hunting lodge, guest house or a quiet get-a-way in Baltimore County.
The river cottage is being sold along with the main property at 1560 Blue Mount Road in Monkton, Md. 21111.
Wednesday is going to be a busy day for HomeRome Realty here in Baltimore. We have showings on two of my special properties.
In the morning, after the gym, I will be showing my new listing at 6232 Blackstone Ave.

And later in the day I will be showing my beautiful 1560 Bluemount Road in Monkton. Look forward to taking a short hike to visit the river cottage on the NCR trail. Hope to find the lucky buyers.

This chair, above, is in one of my favorite properties. When I pulled it to sit down, I noticed the small house. Of course I took a picture and enlarged it. Wow! The small house was painted by an artist and it is almost like a photograph except it is a painting. My wonderful owners told me they bought the chair for a dollar and their friend did the painting. Have you seen these small paintings? Do you have pictures to share?
Sometimes you just have to look closer.

Seriously does it get any prettier? The river cottage is being sold along with the main property at 1560 Blue Mount Road in Monkton, Md. 21111.
This morning I was showing one of my very special properties, Sycamore Farms, to a prospective buyer. Since they came in the kitchen door (closest to where we parked) I said..why don't I just follow you. No way was I going to "make" them go to the front entrance and guide then to which rooms to see and in what order.
They were excited and knew the house from all the online photos and (16 comments)
