acre: Give Yourself a Gift of Education..Consider Real Estate Consulting! - 11/28/10 06:05 PM
Consider Real Estate Consulting
There can never be too much education for real estate professionals. That is one of the main reasons to participate on a site like ActiveRain. If you want to see my list of designations, go to the "Alphabet Soup" link below. One of those designations is ACRE® and I am a founding member.

In tough times, more than ever, real estate professionals need more education, new tools and new revenue streams.   At the same time, consumer awareness and demand for quality choices in real estate services is growing and they want to match that demand with trained professionals who can offer those choices. The basic ACRE® … (32 comments)

A Waiting List for Clients!   Saturday Morning's Teleseminar Was a Hit!

It was a lively discussion on Saturday morning when Jennifer Allan hosted a teleseminar on Alternative Business Modelswith Nishika Jones, Mollie Wasserman, and me.
First up was Nishika who spoke from the perspective of a young mother. She aims for volume, working in HUD homes and using Facebook, Craig's list, and her SOI (sphere of influence) to get more leads, working a referral business, and generating income by doing more deals.
Then it was my turn to talk about how I use a waiting list. After almost 20 years … (50 comments)

acre: Don't Do Anything You Don't Want To! - 06/26/08 06:59 PM
The other day I was talking with a older person whose family was trying to get her to move. I found myself saying emphatically: "Don't do anything you don't want to. But DO everything that you want to." And when I was done, it felt good and right.

acre: What is An ACRE Besides Land? I Am! - 02/19/08 01:28 PM
With years of experience as a successful real estate agent, I'm still always looking for ways to do more for my clients. There are lots of courses I can take, and I do, to keep up to date. There are plenty of designations that seem like so much Alphabet Soup to most people outside real estate.
But once in a while something really new comes along, and I'm able to offer my clients more choices. That's the whole idea behind the Accredited Consultant in Real Estate (ACRE) designation – choices about what services you receive when buying or selling real estate. … (34 comments)

acre: Exceptional Service...Without Exception! - 12/14/06 03:43 PM

In Boston there is a fantastic lady - Realtor® and friend -  named Mollie Wasserman. She's written a new book with a title that Mary McKnight would love:  Ripping the Roof Off Real Estate:  It's Not What You Save, It's What You Keep. Mollie also worked with her partner, Paula Bean, to create a new ACRE course (Accredited Consultant in Real Estate) for training real estate agents in working and getting paid for their consulting and expertise.

Not long ago Joeann Fossland, Master Certified Coach and a dynamo herself, interviewed Mollie for the Agent Real Estate Roundup Podcast on … (6 comments)
