The Privilege of Speaking at the Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS was mine today!
Today was a wonderful day in Baltimore and I was able to do one of my favorite things...speaking with other agents about my passion for real estate. This was certainly not a first for me. Speaking, Networking, Making Connections!! My Fast Start teacher, my mentor, my dear friend... Anne Hruby is teaching the GRI 200 Series and asked me to be a guest at today's class. When you celebrate a special day with close friends, you don't want it to end. So I'm adding this follow-up to enjoy the 50th anniversary party of Anne and Milo Hruby all over again.
From the luscious dinner to the warmth and good wishes of everyone there, it was a magical time.
Anne is still glowing!
Lee and I are grateful to have found such good friends, and wish them many, many more happy years.

There still are golden love stories in the world…here is one of them.
Anne and Milo were high school sweethearts, stars of their own classic love story. They wed on December 27, and have now been married for 18,264 days. (That's 50 years if you don't have a calculator handy!) They had five children in seven years and now enjoy 15 grandchildren, ages two through 19. Family has always come first with Anne, and after all this time, Anne still glows when she mentions Milo's name.

Yes, that Terry Watson. The fantastic speaker who can make any subject come alive was a feature of yesterday's Maryland Association of Realtor's conference in Ocean City. Thanks to my friend, Anne Hruby, I had a front-row seat for his class, "At Home With Diversity" in which he talked about different cultures and how important it is to know about them for any Realtor®. One of the best parts of any national event, like the NAR Midyear Meeting in Washington, DC, last week, is getting together with people we don't see often enough during the year.
