Too Late...Another Baltimore Condo is Under Contract the Rome Way. 2903 Fallstaff Rd.. 21209 The Bartonwood Whether we say under contract, pending, in escrow or just plain TOO LATE..this one bedroom one bath Bartonwood is no longer on the market! We found the right buyer! He has friends in the building, knows the neighborhood and has found the perfect place to call home. A great deal, owning for less than his current rental. What a win win situation. So what is he getting? -A 5th floor unit in an elevator building. -Bedroom with a walk-in closet and tree top views.

baltimore city: Sometimes it Pays to Preview a Property! - 09/30/11 12:07 AM
Sometimes it Pays to Preview a Property! A few weeks ago I received a sign call on 6202 Ivymount Rd. Baltimore 21209 but it was too late for these potential buyers..the property had just gone to settlement. We had a lovely conversation and they told me they had an appointment to interview a buyer's agent. I wished them luck and said if any of my future listings fit their criteria, I would call them or their agent. A week or so later another call from these same buyers. They did not think the agent they interviewed had a feel

baltimore city: Did a Paper Truck Throw Up? - 03/27/09 10:08 PM
I have been oh, so wonderfully busy this week. Negotiating and ratifying a contract on the Southfield listing. A successful auction at 7001 Park Heights, , two sellers waiting for me to do the listing agreement, then showings on my latest two listings, Terrapin and Oakland. There have been seminars and meetings - CRS and Gee Dunsten last week, a WCR luncheon, a webinar with Frances Flynn Thorsen, a networking evening with Vito Simone at his Canton office, a planning meeting for an art auction in May, lunch with my publisher, and a funeral. Plus, of course, many phone calls, emails, reading, etc. Yep, a typical Type

baltimore city: Lovin' Live Baltimore - 02/20/09 07:11 PM
Last evening was the big Live Baltimore reception and new website debut. The venue was gorgeous – Symphony Center in downtown Baltimore, just across from the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Real estate professionals came to network and learn more about what Live Baltimore does to encourage people to live in Baltimore City. People stopped at a large city map to find their homes in one of Baltimore's more than 200 neighborhoods. And right next to the map was…me! Live Baltimore had generously offered to include a book signing in the evening's festivities, so there I was, signing and selling copies of Real

baltimore city: Here Come Da Judge! - 02/09/09 06:37 PM
The room at the Suburban Club was filled with judges, lawyers, family, and friends to celebrate the 80th birthday of Richard T. Rombro, retired judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Many people know him for his asbestos cases but not many know him as the loving family man, husband, father, brother, grandfather and good friend that he is. There have been tributes in the past to the professional life of this former state legislator and retired judge, but Sunday's tribute was to the other Richard, the family man and friend. The room was filled with love and respect,

baltimore city: Cheswolde's Charms – a Baltimore Neighborhood - 04/11/08 08:14 AM
In many ways, Cheswolde is a typical Baltimore neighborhood. Located in the northwest part of Baltimore City. Cheswolde is a mixture of single-family detached homes and garden apartments, most built in the mid-20th century. Even so, the history of Cheswolde goes back to the early 1800's when land north of Western Run (a small river) was owned by Charles Carroll of Carrollton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. A house said to have been Carroll's hunting lodge still stands at the northwest corner of Greenspring Avenue and Cross Country Boulevard. In the first half of the 19th Century a grist
