 A Sunday in Baltimore! A Few Special ActiveRainers.
This past Sunday we had an ActiveRain gathering. Not a large group but fabulous associates that  never would have met if not for AR. This is how it started Guess Who's Coming to Sunday Dinner ~ ActiveRain Gathering!     
                                                           
Early in the morning Carolyn and her sons, Noah and Stephan, met for breakfast at   Suburban House re-opens in Pikesville! Margaret Rome's "Kitchen" is Back!  We  had a picnic brunch outside. There was a lot more room for the boys to run around while Mom and I relaxed, talked and enjoyed the glorious Baltimore weather. … (25 comments)

 Baltimore, Good Friends and  Lunch at the Bay Cafe! A few times, each summer, we enjoy eating on the water at one of our favorite places.  Thursday was a hot humid summer day in Baltimore but not to hot to have lunch at the Bay Cafe and right on the water. Yes it was quite warm but a nice breeze and delicious iced coffee made it quite enjoyable.
 Our good friends Allen Hainge, founder of the CyberStars(tm) and Ellie Palmer treated us to a scrumptious lunch.  It has been about 2 years since we were there together.  You Can Get There From Here...Baltimore's Bay Café

                    It was another beautiful day in Baltimore and a perfect day to entertain friends Ira and Carol Serkes from Berkeley California. They were available at noon and had a 3:00 train. So where do we go.. lunch and what do we want to show off but our Maryland seafood. Gary Sisson is a Floyd Wickman trainer and one of my mentors. We met early in my career after I took the Sweathogs program, and have stayed good friends throughout the years. Gary called to say he was on his way to New Jersey visiting family, and would be coming through Baltimore on his way back home to North Carolina. We made plans to have lunch on his way home.
 Lee and I would meet them at a favorite restaurant, the Bay Café in Baltimore,Maryland.

Allen Hainge and Ellie Palmer were driving over to Baltimore from Reston, VA to meet us for lunch. Great. And I knew exactly how to get to the Bay Café, but it's difficult to explain to someone who doesn't know that area of Baltimore where streets don't all go in a nice, neat, criss-cross grid. This is near the harbor, and some streets have been there for literally hundreds of years. They turn at odd angles, and some are one way.
