daylight saving time: Spring Forward This Weekend - 03/09/18 05:17 PM

Most of our important clocks change to Daylight Savings Time automatically..but there are still some devices that have to be manually changed like our wall clocks, watches and older car clocks.

By remembering the phrase
"Spring forward, Fall back"
we immediately know how to change our time telling devices.

This Sunday, March 11th..
"Spring Forward" at 2 a.m.

And yes, this is the one we lose an hour of sleep but we gain that hour of sunlight at the end of the day.

It is a good idea to remind Sunday appointments of the time change.

I am making sure I will be on time for my noon radio show.

daylight saving time: An Extra Hour Of Sleep - 11/03/17 06:40 PM

   It's time to fall back!

Turn all your timing devices back for day light saving.  Be thankful for the extra hour of sleep! Do you have some friends or family members that might need a reminder?
This  change affects all our time telling devices, including computers, alarm clocks,  smart phones, microwaves, TVs, older car clocks, grandfather clocks and the numerous watches we may own. Most of our electronic devices reset automatically. Careful not to lose another hour!

Good idea to turn my clocks back on Saturday before going  to sleep...so I will be on time for my live radio show Sunday at 12 noon.

 Spring Forward On Sunday

"Spring forward, Fall back" which reminds us how Daylight Saving Time affects all our time telling devices, including computers, alarm clocks, cell phones, microwaves, car clocks and the  numerous watches we may own.
Daylight saving time (DST) begins each year on the second Sunday in March at 2 a.m.

Clocks must be moved ahead one hour when DST goes into effect.
Some people remember which way to move their clocks using the phrase, "spring forward, fall back".
Too late to remind my radio listeners of the time change.  I think they will remember?
Right now I am going to change the clocks.
