From the beginning of my real estate career, listings have been the name of the game. At closing, I remarked that I don't work with many buyers. He took me aside and said that might not be the best thing to say...in fact he suggested I might be losing clients. This was a friend talking to me and he meant it as constructive.
After thinking about it...I had a revelation. Buyers begat listings! It's a cycle, buyers become sellers and sellers become buyers.

Listings Are The Name of The Game Recently spoke to an agent who did not want to take listings because she feels that sellers are difficult, demanding and need too much attention. This agent is looking only for buyers and trying to find all kinds of ways to attract people in the market but only to buy. Do they not realize that listings produce buyers? As far as I am concerned, listings are and have always been the name of the game!
