When doing my ads I take a thick marker and write Too Late or Sold and put a copy in the file . There is a cool marker like app on my iPad that allows me to write these words in my own writing style. Many factors go into selling a home including things like pricing, photography, internet presence, presentation, marketing, condition and ease of making appointments. I have decided to experiment...Can using color help sell homes in Baltimore? My favorite color is sort of a non color. I love the color brown. But when it came to advertising my listings..I wanted the color to stand out against backgrounds of black and white. My "For Sale" sign is red so I again chose RED for my real estate advertising. My Elevator Speech is Only Three Seconds! You know how it goes. You are at a networking event or business association meeting, and it's that time when everyone gets to introduce themselves. The leader says, "Give us your name, company, and a little about what you do…but please keep it short!" Around the room, people get up....some drone on and on, others barely whisper their name and still others stammer through an almost inaudible description. When my turn comes, I say it in three seconds flat and sit down while they are still laughing and applauding.

Who Could Compete With This Logo? We have all seen some clever advertising over the years but this is maybe the best ever! Recently did a home inspection on a property that goes to settlement this week. When on the buying side, I like to have everything done at one time...all contractors scheduled the same day. That includes the home inspector, the termite inspector, testing for radon, water potability and septic system including a clean out. This is where Michael Inc. showed up with their new truck. The entry of a home makes a statement. Is it inviting? Is it welcoming? Does it say "Come In" ? This is the entrance foyer of my newest listing, a 3264' Rancher plus a full basement in Sagamore Forest II Reistersown, MD 21136. Look at the hardwood floors, the granite accents...leading to the spiral staircase, the 10 foot high ceilings... all cedar, the wood closet doors, the inlaid ceramic flooring, the brightness and the general decor.
