snow: Start Thinking About a Garage In Your Baltimore Home and Forget the Scraper - 11/30/10 12:56 AM
You won't need this ice scraper and snow broom if your Baltimore home has a garage. (Have you guys in sunny California even seen one of these scrapers?)
After last year's record snow, this was a much sought after tool.

Early this morning, low temperatures were responsible for icey windshields..not mine because we are fortunate to have a garage. This is the first frost I have noticed this season.

One of the best ways to avoid scraping windshields and clearing snow off your auto is to own a home with a garage. Would you like to visit … (11 comments)

Baltimore Snow is For the Birds!

I found my steps buried under a few feet of snow!

I had such good plans! We had plenty of warning about this blizzard and record breaking snowfall. So prepared I was....last night I went out and shoveled the 2-3 inches of snow from my driveway and front steps. Not too bad, it was a heavy snow.  Yes, I was going to stay ahead of this one. Figuring if I did this every … (44 comments)

snow: Forget the Snow...Live in a Condo! - 12/22/09 02:48 PM
It began Friday night and continued all day Saturday. I was doing my best to keep up with the 20+" history-making''  snowfall Baltimore was about to receive. Shoveling the steps a couple of times on Saturday got me a bit ahead. But then awakening Sunday morning to the absolute beauty of almost two feet of this magnificent whiteness was breathtaking. So again, I went out do the steps so I could bring Lee the newspaper. Then I spent almost two hours with the snow blower doing our driveway – I was not going to quit until the whole darn thing was done!

snow: Let It Snow, let It Snow Let It Snow...in Houston! - 12/18/08 05:17 PM

Just about the time my books arrived I also received a note from some special clients. I worked with them twice over the years they were in the Baltimore area, once to buy and fix up a home, and then again when they sold it and moved to Texas.
It was nice to hear from the Richardsons again, especially with this email (reprinted with permission):

Yesterday, to the sheer delight of many, many Houstonians (including Alex & Alyssa) snow fell for several hours in Houston, TX. That's right, Houston TEXAS!! It was a really enormous deal here. Snow comes … (33 comments)

snow: Tuesday February 13th A Pretty Snow in Baltimore - 02/13/07 11:05 AM
What a beautiful way to wake up in Baltimore. Yes it is snowing.... Fresh pretty snow that just covers the shrubs, grass and trees a bit. Just real beauty... leaving the streets clear and safe, at least for the moment. Temperatures are dropping and they are calling for ice.  Appointments have been canceled and I am enjoying the scenery from the inside. … (4 comments)

snow: Oh What a Beautiful Morning in Baltimore! - 02/13/07 10:51 AM

The weather called for snow and ice and rain etc. Most of the schools are closed but it is a most beautiful morning in Baltimore. Yes, it's still snowing and it will probably freeze. But right now it is so pretty. A light snow that is covering the trees and grass but the streets are clean and safe.  This is a special snow day. Here is a photo taken without leaving my house. This picture is not so clear because of the snow. I am enjoying this beauty!
