If you've never had fresh eggs before, you are really missing something! One of my favorite colleagues raises chickens at his home near Cedar Creek Lake (he has about 60 hens) and showed up at my office on Friday with a special gift... fresh eggs! I learned a lot about the eggs including that the older hens lay larger eggs than the younger ones, and the smaller eggs are richer in nutrients. On my recent trip to my childhood home in New Jersey, I had a reunion with 30+ friends who I have known since grade school... and one friend, below, who I only met for the first time that night. The Big Lobster at Pub 199 (Located at 199 Howard Blvd.) in Mount Arlington, NJ is not only a sight to behold, but he comes with a bowl of drawn butter and is quite tasty! To put his size in perspective, check out the soup bowl of butter or the large baked potato by his tail!

Large Memories and Small Realities - 05/16/10 01:30 AM
I traveled to New Jersey this week and took a nostalgic drive through the town I lived in until I was 14 years old. I always remember this waterfall as being enormous. Perhaps the memories are what's big, and the realities are a bit smaller!
It's an interesting analogy for the home buying process, sometimes a buyer's or seller's emotions cause parts of the transaction to be out of proportion with the realities. Having an agent who has been there before can make all the difference in keeping things in the right perspective!
